AHS 2022 | Challenges in infant headache care

Lauren Natbony, MD, Icahn School of Medicine, New York, NY, discusses challenges in treating children with headache disorders. Collating data on children has always been difficult as many trials conducted on children have a rigorous exclusion criterion, making the sample sizes too small to make profound conclusions. Therefore, there is a need to expand the inclusion criteria and encourage the participation of children; they are different from adults and must not have evidence-based treatments for adults generalized towards them. This interview took place during the 2022 American Headache Society (AHS) Annual Scientific Meeting in Denver, CO.
