IHC 2021 | Highlights from IHC 2021

Aynur Özge, MD, PhD, Mersin University School of Medicine, Mersin, Turkey, shares her highlights from the International Headache Congress (IHC) 2021, including a study on the importance of adrenomedullin on migraine-like attacks in patients with migraine and a presidential symposium lecture on CGRP, amylin and adrenomedullin peptides and their receptors. Additional relevant topics discussed during the meeting include the European Headache Federation (EHF) consensus on the definition of resistant and refractory migraine, hypersensitivity to CGRP in post-traumatic headache, and COVID-19 related headache.
